美國公民入籍

美國公民入籍的8項要求如下: 

1. 年滿18歲

2. 具有美國永久居民身份並持有綠卡

3. 持有綠卡超過5年  (或過去5年內超過3年 ** 註) 

4. 在過去5年間, 離開美國境內低於30個月. 

5. 在過去5年間, 離境美國期間不曾超過1年.

6. 提出申請時必需已在該州別或區域居住超過3個月 

7. 可以讀, 寫, 說基本的英語. 

8. 暸解美國體制及基本的歷史發展. 

     ** 註: 申請人配偶必需為美國公民且已入籍超過3年, 而申請人本身在過去3年內離開美國境內未超過18個月.

• Step 1. Determine if you are already a U.S. citizen

         確認自己是否已經是美國公民

• Step 2. Determine if you are eligible to become a U.S. citizen

         確認自己是否已符合成為美國公民資格

• Step 3. Prepare your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization

         填寫N-400申請入籍表格

• Step 4. Submit your Form N-400 and pay your fees

         遞交N-400申請表及支付申請費用

• Step 5. Go to your biometrics appointment, if applicable

         完成按壓指紋程序

• Step 6. Complete the interview

        完成公民面談

• Step 7. Receive a decision from USCIS on your Form N-400

         收到移民局的面試通過通知信

• Step 8. Receive a notice to take the Oath of Allegiance

         收到入籍宣誓書

• Step 9. Take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States

         參加入籍宣示儀式
